My husband is having difficulty changing the break pads. That is done but when he puts break fluid it just leaks out, will not stay in just comes out of pipe. What is he doing wrong????

i just love people that ask what they should do, specially when so little info is given...................can you post a picture? could be the master cylinder seal has perished just comes out the pipe? spilt brake line?
air valve? on motorcycle brakes? think you are confusing the bleed nipple on the caliper as a air valve. there should be no air in the system just brake fluid.......... if you do not know what you are doing seek professional advice brakes are fairly important.
if liquid is coming out, there probably isnt air in the pipe if hes bleeding it. if it is it could just be a leak, take it to a garage if i was you, they know what their doing.or check the pipe
Is he trying to bleed the brake lines? Or trying to replace his brake pads?
Should he really be doing this if you have to ask the question? He is open to the elements and if the brake fails, its not like a car with a supporting structure around you...
