When in drive but stopped with my foot on the break, my car's engine shakes significantly when it's very cold.?

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer with 65,000 miles. When it's very cold outside (15 degrees F), when the car is in drive but my foot is on the break and it's not moving, the engine shakes the car signifcantly. Do you think this is because I need new transmission fluid? Could it be related to the radiator (the guy at Jiffylube said I needed new radiator fluid but I did not get it). It doesn't seem to be a problem when it's not cold outside. In general, how much does changing the transmission fluid cost? Is it easy for any garage to do or must I goto a dealer? Thanks car experts!!!!

Sounds more like you have a 'low speed misfire'. Check your spark plugs and plug wires.

My car does this every now and again. I usually resolve the problem by running about a half tank of super gasoline through the engine and a bottle of carb/injector cleaner. If you want to do both at the same time, you have to use a full tank of super.

Engine calms down after that!
