What can cause brake failure in Audi A6 '99?

A few days ago I changed my ABS pump in my Audi A6 '99 1.8T and completely changed my break fluid. Was driving for a day and it was fine, but yesterday I was driving on a motor way and had a total brake failure, pedal just went to the floor. Checked my ABS pump and seems like it was affected and was leaking brake fluid. However, I changed it to the other pump, done all the wheels and let the air out after changing the pump, but the warning light still flashes and brakes are barely working anyway, you have to push the pedal right to the ground to get any brakes. Also, seems like only 2 wheels are breaking (passenger front and drivers back wheel) . Anyone has a clue why is this happening?? Is it possible that brake master cylinder was damaged?? In addition, seems like brake fluid is not pushed out of the cylinder properly. Any ideas??

brakes should only be touched by a professional,if you carn,t afford repairs the vehicle should not be on the highway lives including your own depend on it being able to stop.

broken brake line or hose, bad master cylinder.
The brakes are separated into two separate sections, as a safety feature in case there is a failure in one section, the other section will still function. This is why only two of the four wheels are braking. The problem does sound like a master cylinder. The two separate braking sections of your car starts with the master cylinder, and the master cylinder then feeds the ABS system.

The master cylinder can be rebuilt, but normally you get an already rebuilt cylinder at the car parts store %26amp; install it. They will probably want the old take-out cylinder back as a core.
you have a duty to run a safe motor, get a qualified motor engineer to sort brakes out
