2002 Dodge Grand Caravan having engine problems.?

I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan that is at about 92,000 miles. We purchased the 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty on it but I am unsure what is going wrong with the car. About two months ago I took the car in to get the breaks fixed and they also replaced the break fluid and said that the transmission fluid need to also be changed along with the Serpentine belt. My husband did not want them to touch the belt or the transmission fluid and replaced the belt himself and that we didn't need to flush the trans fluid because it still looked okay (red in color). He replaced the belt with one bought at Napa auto parts and he couldn't really fit it on properly at first but finally got it to fit and said it was a tight fit. So since then you can still hear the belt squealing and now the ABS light is on and doesn't turn off. The main problem is that I have noticed the engine revving loudly at a stop sign or traffic light. It sounds like it is really overworking. Please help!

make sure the belt is routed properly, and the abs light could be that a wheel speed sensor was damaged when the brakes were replaced.the revving sounds like you may be having the early signs of transmission failure.this is common in dodge mini vans.the fluid can be red and the trans still have a problem, but it sounds to me like its too late to service it.you should have it checked out by a reputable shop.

Either the tensioner is going bad or the belt is on just a little crooked, the least little thing will make a belt make noise. as far as the ABS light there is probably air in the lines or something like that. Since the dealer did the brake job i would take it back and let them figure out the problem and dont let them do anything besides that.
