Slip Indicator Light Stays ON?

I have a peugeot 206 gti. The slip indicator light stays on. I have checked break fluid and is fine. Checked tyres and pressure and they are fine. Changed brakes (needed doing) discs and pads on all 4 wheels and the light still stays on. Any ideas what the problem can be?

If the TCS (traction control system) is turned on the %26quot;SLIP%26quot; indicator should blink when the traction control system is limiting wheel spin on a slippery road surface. The SLIP indicator light should otherwise only come on for a couple seconds as the computer goes through the system check during the startup sequence when you first turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If it does not come on for a couple seconds when you first turn the ignition switch to the ON position or if it stays on after startup then something is wrong with the traction control system and you should take it to your dealer for repair.

The French being very romantically inclined have put that meter there to indicate slips. Your girlfriend must have been wearing a fine dress with a slip underneath and sitting on the passenger side. These new cars sense everything!
have you checked to see if you have some broken wires going to your brake pads or traction controll?
